We believe Salvation, or the new birth, is a work of God’s grace whereby believers become new creatures in Christ Jesus. It is a change of heart wrought by the Holy Spirit through conviction of sin, to which the sinner responds in repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Repentance and faith are inseparable experiences of grace.

 

We believe Repentance is a genuine turning from sin toward God. Faith is the acceptance of Jesus Christ and commitment of the entire personality to Him as Lord and Saviour.

 

We believe Sanctification is the experience, beginning in regeneration, by which the believer is set apart to God’s purposes, and is enabled to progress toward moral and spiritual maturity through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in him. Growth in grace should continue throughout the regenerate person’s life. Glorification is the culmination of salvation and is the final blessed and abiding state of the redeemed.

 

We believe Marriage is a sacred institution ordained of God for the happiness of mankind and the propagation of the race. It is a spiritual and physical union into which one man and one woman may enter for the glory of God and, according to the scriptural ideal, is to be broken only by death (Genesis 2:18, 24; Matthew 19:3-9; Romans 7:2)

 

We believe Gender and Gender Identity is not a by-product of individual choice, but is rather a consequence of divine design. There simply is no biblical evidence of God designing His creation so that a person may choose their own gender identity. Instead, scripture clearly teaches that God has designed human beings as exclusively male or female without the ability to change that. It is fixed in the womb.“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:27

 

We believe Abortion dishonors the sanctity of human life, which begins at conception. Knowing that God created all human beings in his image, we acknowledge the unique significance of human life. Therefore, we stand firm in our opposition to  elective abortion for personal or social convenience.
